Why say you that? I have never heard of Stephen Mulhern.

I like him.

Seems a pleasant presenter - better than a lot of them.  Who knows away from the studio?

His TV persona is probably a seriously exaggerated version of parts of his personality.

Presentation is like acting, you play a part, bits of you are in it, but not all of you, and some bits are made up entirely.

I like him on that - but I saw him on something else and didn't like him much - probably because the second programme was not something I was at all interested in.  I can't remember what it was called but it was one of those screamy shouty things where everyone involved seems to become hysterical for no particular reason.

I've seen him on screamy shouty shows too and just put him in the Ant and Dec category.  Put me right off!

I used to watch catchphrase years ago, but not recently.

Countryllover  - ah yes, the good old days, when Roy Walker would say, 'Close, but it's not right ...', and the nation would scream at its tellies as one - 'You're miles off, you gormless twonk!!'

I quite e njoyed it back then Andy

I would act a plonker for his money
