She is the same age as me. I thought she was so cool when I was a teenager! Thin, same hairstyle, dolly rocker dresses. Age is a terrible thing! Extra weight, wrinkles! Anyone know a good plastic surgeon?

Thanks for making everyone here who remembers 'Puppet on a String' feel really, really old, Carole!
;-)

I reckon that she looks pretty good for someone in her mid-seventies though

We used to be so thin!
...and yet I always thought I was fat!
She looks o.k. Carole. Don't be mean.
Lulu still looks good for her age

I’m not! I knew I was a bit raddled, but I remember her being so lovely and cool! She was the epitome of cool.
It doesn't look as though Sandie Shaw has been tempted to go under the knife.
Can't say the same for Lulu which is a shame because she's in danger of spoiling her looks.
I’d rather look at Sandie’s natural appearance than Lulu’s plastic appearance any day of the week. I hope she never goes near a plastic surgeon.
I agree ^^^

There is hope for me and all other 76 year olds who believe their wrinkles were well earned by love and family!
Embrace what you've got, including wrinkles and grey hair. Why does everyone want to look younger? I've earned my older look through living my life.
everybody doesn't. But many of those who appear on public platforms do - singers and actors in particular. People like Clint Eastwood and Harrison Ford will still be acting when they turn 150, but it's much harder for women over 40 to get roles. And if they're going to be singing songs as they did in the 60s, they may suspect the audience want them to look like they did in the 60s.

Sandie Shaw may not have had surgery, but the hair colour...
I'm not commenting on her looks, but never thought her voice (or songs she sang) were up to much.
