Bbc Quiz :Week 18
26 Answers
Hello again!
A decent start for me this week, with a score of SIX out of seven in the main quiz:
https:/ /www.bb c.co.uk /news/w orld-65 481796
Just a pathetic ONE out of five on the junior quiz for me though :(
https:/ /www.bb c.co.uk /newsro und/513 18780
I scored a passable SIX out of ten in the Timed Teaser this week:
https:/ /www.bb c.co.uk /news/w orld-us -canada -654099 37
So that's an aggregate of 13 for me, which I reckon that most of you lot will beat easily enough, won't you?
Your turn anyway!

Well done on
(a) being a perfect kid this week ; and
(b) beating me !
Being retired (and a republican) this weekend will be much the same as any other for me but, as long as the Troublesome Trio stay healthy (and as demanding as ever, of course), I'm sure that we'll all manage to enjoy it anyway ;-)
I hope that you're able to make the best of the long weekend too.

4/7,2/5,5/10. Don’t think I was paying too much attention this week, Bailey ran to hide behind the bath when my friend came round this morning but he came out again only half an hour after she left so we are making some improvements.Puss Puss is as laid back as usual. On Norman and Magic duty again this weekend and their staff ( as we are well aware cats do not have owners) are going to a garden party at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday so the kitties may also acquire airs and graces
Hi, Campbellking!
Not paying attention has probably been the story of my life!
I'm pleased that Bailey is getting a little more relaxed. (My friend from Italy wanted to see my threesome getting their Dreamies out in the street on Wednesday. Moonbeam and Tablo both gobbled them up, while keeping a very wary eye on my friend but Chequers wouldn't even leave the house. He only needs to hear someone talking at the very far end of our cul-de-sac for him to flee indoors in panic!).
I hope that Norman and Magic will get into the spirit of things on Tuesday ;-)

6/7 v 3/7
1/5 v 3/5
6/10 v 6/10
13/22 v 12/22 Pipped at the post again.
Shady still harassing the cucumbers, so I've dug them up and put them in pots. I think the pollen count is lower : he has stopped getting the sneezing fits.
Shame about Chequers missing the Dreamies party, hope he got an extra cuddle :-))

Well done, DTC! You beat me easily enough this week ;-)
I hope that the clutch repair isn't too expensive!
(I once had a clutch replaced on a Citroen, where a 'simple' clutch replacement required 8½ hours labour due to having to take out, and then replace, the pneumatic suspension. It cost a fortune but then, when the fault I'd been experiencing quickly reappeared, the garage decided that there'd been nothing wrong with the clutch in the first place! Grrrrr!)
Hi, Haras2! My Friday evening is always made when I see your post ;-)
Thanks for allowing me to sneak ahead of you this week, albeit it by a single point!
I'm glad that Shady is no longer sneezing; I thought that the problem would clear up without having to pay a fortune to a vet (and having Shady distressed by a visit to said vet).
I can't imagine my lot ever taking any notice of cucumbers. Their rule is "If it moves, kill it. If it smells good, eat it. Otherwise just ignore it" ;-)
You can rest assured that Chequers never really misses out on anything. If the others get something special when he's not around, I try to sneak him another treat later on. (That often means that Tablo ends up getting double though, as she can smell Dreamies from the far end of the street!)
I hope that you and Shady enjoy the long weekend.
