Panicking Tory MPs in "Red Wall " seats of the North & Midlands are discussing forming a new Breakaway Party..... With Labour now constantly in the lead and leaping ahead in the Polls almost daily to win the next G/E
And an alarming number of Tory MPs planning to quit before the G/E.
These new MPs are frightened of becoming "One Termers"after being elected in Labour strongholds in 2019. Think the new party will be over before it's started.

How come you can copy and paste from an article but not copy and paste a link?
Perhaps he types it all out.

Many Red Wall seats would have been lost at the next election regardless. That shouldn't be news to anyone.
I now have an image of someone wearing bottle bottom glasses with their tongue sticking out, diligently looking at one screen and typing the words out on another.
They'll also loose there seats . ... and maybe there deposits .. if they stands under a new party
:o)
He scours Twitter Zac and copies his rants from there, the more he’s asked to provide a link here for his anti Tory stuff, the more he thinks it’s ‘fun’ not to, a similar mindset to a spotty school boy being naughty ;0)

And the party within a party will let Starmer get on with his policy agenda? I should coco.

Split the vote ????
They knew they would be one termers as soon as they were elected and had majorities of just a couple of hundred.
Johnson got a big majority, but it turned out to be a bit of a curse, with many of them rebelling as they had nothing to lose. Johnson would probably still be leader now if they Tories hadn’t gained the red wall.
I doubt many or any will form a new party or stand as independents. The sensible ones will have already got a new job lined up.

There is talk about forming a seperate Northern Party along the lines of the Scottish Tories.Wonder if they will call it ...The Tory Newky Party.
There won't be a new party (unfortunately) as many MPs in both major parties who could come together to form such a party are scared, very scared that if they try they will lose their jobs.

Former MP probably looks good on the CV, especially with all those contacts.
People have short memories.
Remember ‘Change UK’ ?

Gromit @ 09.18..."The sensible ones will have already have got a new job lined up". Looking at the number of Con MPs who are planning to quit before the next G/E ....You are probably right.

You haven’t provided a number.
^Or told us where you're looking at the number.
Richard Tice has pledged to contest every seat with the Reform Party. Farage has just joined them. Tice says that there will be no deals whereby his candidates stand aside to allow the legacy parties to stand unopposed. Membership is rising fast and costs £25 pe annum. Reform are now just about polling in 3rd place but when the message begins to get through, it is currently being ignored by the misledia but is now featured on GB News, they may well find themselves in a very good position. Brexit focused, illegal immigration focused, Law and Order focused.
IMO They would be foolish to start a new party. It would have minimal credibility, and there are existing parties around, one or more might fit their views adequately.
Ive never read one of your posts gulliver, and not because I'm a Tory, but even your post titles are boring
