Just for a bit of light relief at such an awful time. The people on Gogglebox have me in stitches. My family rarely sit watching programmes in silence and more often than not laugh our socks off at our own daft observations, so I think our lot would be rather good on it - not that I'd do it, of course.

How do you think your family would do?

With the exception of 24 hour News we don't watch enough TV to qualify.
well hubby would be asleep with a grip on the remote me trying to get it ,then when he is awake we pull a lot of programmes to bits .and they all have food or sweets in front of them but I would put our wine and prosecco bottle out of sight lol x

Neither do we Baldric. Very little in fact, but I record Gogglebox and watch it when I can simply because it makes me laugh. Same with First Dates.
They're given a DVD with all the programmes on it. You don't think they're watching them as they happen do you?
Love first dates. I grin like a Cheshire Cat or I'm in tears.

Zacs-Master, I assumed they were given recordings.

I love First Dates too. Often an eye-opener - and I love Merlin's expressions when the 'daters' are talking to him. So funny!
Merlin is a very astute guy. You can see he's weighed-up the punters within seconds and is either subtly condescending or v charming.

Exactly.
Dead boring.

So your family would be no good for it then, Cassa.
