she looks uncomfortable, as to the children, some look out of their depth or in one case plainly terrified.

only seen one show or part of it and there was a 7 year old boy and OMG he could spell the longest most complicated words, I was amazed

I have just seen two episodes and that is enough for me.
Dawn French is over the top, particularly with those horrible facial grimaces and the kids are not my cup of tea. Some, one or two are indeed talented and my idea of normal kids, but the majority are "clever with it" precocious, "in your face" ...just silly, in my opinion.
