This may sound really silly, but was watching a bit of a Harry Potter film and they had a wanted poster which had a two to three second video of the wanted baddie.
Would it be totally wrong to suggest that a short clip could be taken of criminals when they were in police stations?
I think I would be much more likely to recognise someone if I saw them in 'real life'.

If they were already in a police station, why would you need to recognise them?
