weecalf - I am sure there are seriously large insurance policies against any harm for the programme guests.

As far as eating any animals, I am also sure that tests will have been completed to ensure that no serious lasting harm will result from their consumption - well for the consumer at least!

There might be the odd gyppy tummy caused my ingesting something unfamiliar to a western digestive system, but that must be part of the risk you take for undertaking to appear.
