A Bouquet Of Flowers As A 'thank You'.
30 Answers
The next door neighbours came round today when I was out and trimmed the hedge between our houses. They're both nice people and I'd like to get them a present as a 'thank you'. I was thinking a bottle of wine for him, maybe one about a tenner, and flowers for her. How much should I spend on them?

If you go that way get a bunch or two from the local supermarket, it'll be cheaper. Or alternatively get a single decent wine for the pair of them to enjoy. Sunday newspapers/magazines often have good suggestions, or you could search for wine of the week here (if there are any recent ones).
Do they like wine, not everyone does. If you're going to buy wine I'd get them a bottle of fizz, not expensive stuff, most people enjoy a bottle of fizz.
The trouble with cut flowers in this weather is they just don't last, sunflowers would though, there are lots in the supermarkets at the moment too.
