I'm very confused by the cooking times. On the pack it says 6 minutes per 100gms. In another sorce it says 25 mins per 450 gms plus 25 mins.

How long would you cook it for? It weighs 1.544 kg.

Around 2 hours 15 mins @ 190 F. slightly more for well done and slightly less for rarer .Cooking times exactly the same as topside.
there is not much in that 6 mins per 100g is 27 mins per 450g
I would do 20 mins per 450g plus an extra 20 mins at the end and rest well
I would say 2 hrs 15 is well over!!
I agree with Islay, 1 Hour 50/55 should be ample. Don't forget to let it rest
Horse what is the weight of the joint?

That's a handy link TonyV thanks. I've just seen those photos of roast lamb at the bottom of the page mmmmmmm. OH hates lamb, even the smell, so I tend only to have lamb if we go out. I like really rare meat too, but don't mind medium.
Horse best thing about roast lamb is the mint sauce mmmm
80 mins. for rare side of medium
