Didn't laugh once at Asian "comedian".
I've only seen BGT a few times but I would sincerely hope that any RVP performer would be vastly better than those on BGT (most of whom wouldn't even merit 3rd place in the local Nag's Head talent contest!).
Best up to now for me, and a nice bloke on & off stage was Jeff Lynne's ELO.

Most embarrassing, the dog act.
Thought the Murder at Haversham Manor sketch was fantastic, not laughed so much in ages.
o come on boys
have a thought for that poor bearded red head who had to sit thro it all
Don't watch Variety Shows
Little Mix, giants of the music industry!!
I agree with trt plus I would add that the C&W girl who sang , sorry, murdered, Yellow was dire.
It clashed with the final episode of Capitol so I didn't see it!
I think I must be unaware of what makes a good comedian. I always thought it was someone who could make you laugh. The two on RVP were beyond dire!
I found the show truly awful and the tribute to Cilla Black very sickly and should not been in this type of show. Odd that it should have been shown on the anniversary of the death of John Lennon. Most of the acts could not top the bill on Clacton pier. It's time to call time on this show if this is the best it can do
The only enjoyable thing was seeing lovely Prince Harry. Didn't see past 9.00pm as turned over to watch Capital. What I did see was dire except for Josh Groban and ELO.
Agree the show was dire and the Cilla tribute unnecessary should have been left for the obituary section at the BAFTAS. I am glad I recorded it and was able to whizz through unlike Prince Harry who had to endure the whole thing!
just watched what I "thought" I wanted. Compared with the excitement when the queen was the royal - no comparison - nothing to do with Prince Harry - (felt sorry for him having to go through this) - just a young kid wanting to do his own thing.

Just no atmosphere with the whole show - when I see any "new" comedians - automatically switch off as I find them generally they are cringe-worthy.

Must say thought the dog act was great - lady had so much control over all the animals - non of them strayed or embarrassed her.
There were better jokes on today's "Question Time" than the whole of the RVS
Agree with Jeff lynn's ELO orchestra, they were good. I quite liked thr Mary Poppins
On the whole I thought the show was very good. There are always one or two acts that don't hit the spot, but I loved most of them. Little Mix, One Direction and that funny theatre production to name a few, I thought Jack Whitehall was good too. Elton John mumbled his way through his spot imo! Deffo fancy Harry in that beard !!
Neti - I saw the musical of Mary Poppins in London some years ago - it was THE greatest musical I have saw/seen.
Time Elton John retired so as to spend more time with his husband and children.

Why some go mad on him, I can only guess.
He was rubbish last night, see my earlier post.
