Really good episode tonight. Kept me on my toes. I felt they went out with a bang for final episode.
Glad it ended as it did.

I tried watching it, but gave up as I thought it was rubbish.

The first series was good, but it has struggled since then I think.

Each to his own Hopkirk. I loved it.
Yep.

I'm looking forward to the next series of Peep Show, but that's not everyone's cup of tea.
Question Author
I've never seen that. What kind of programme is that?
A sitcom on Channel 4 with David Mitchell and Robert Webb

It's a bit of a cult show, but certainly not everyone's cup of tea.
Question Author
Right, I don't think it is my cup of tea at all. I'll stick to Doc Martin when we get another series!
Caran, I visited Port Isaac ( where Doc Martin is filmed ) not so long back while on Hols in Padstow. T'is a lovely place.

I loved it & love Peep Show. I stayed in Padstow on a job interview nearby, lovely place. We've taken the kids to Port Wenn but it's was in a February so not quite as idyllic.

Yes sher you really need the good weather to properly appreciate the towns.
I have spent a couple of weeks in Padstow at Christmas / new year a few years ago, it was great.
Question Author
What was the weather like tonyav. Did it affect your stay?
Another place on my wish list to visit is Portmeirion Wales where they filmed The Prisoner' ( original with Patrick McGoon ). And it is so much closer to me than Port Isaac in Cornwall.
The weather was ok, Caran. Not great but ok ( and it was free ). So no it didn't affect our stay.
Question Author
Been there, many years ago. Fascinating place.
Yes it is, Caran. I could quite easily live there ( if I had a lottery win ).
Ah, did you mean Portmeirion, Caran ?.
Question Author
