Did anyone watch this programme on BBC 4 (+1?)last night? It was all about a particular orca (killer whale) who had killed his trainer at one of the Seaworlds in the USA, and also about the atrocities that mankind has done to these wonderful intelligent animals. Sometimes I'm ashamed to be part of the human race. If you watch this programme have tissues handy as it's very emotional.

I saw this on the programmes listing and read the description, but couldn't bring myself to watch it. I am quite ashamed of that. But I just couldn't do it. From what you say, it seems to have been as ghastly as I thought it was going to be.

Parts of it were horrible, but there was also some interesting facts about the orcas and the obvious love several of the trainers had with the orcas came through.
