I really like this program, they do have some unusual things on there, but last night I was disgusted to see a freak two faced calf that had been still born, bought from the farmer for £500 and then stuffed.

The bloke was then asking 5k for it!

I was disgusted that anyone would even want to do this to the poor animal and make money out of the freak of nature, but even more disgusted that anyone would want to buy it.

Who would want that in their home?

That type of Taxidermy was all the rage in Victorian times when they had freak shows and the like.

Surely no one today would want one.
Not even Victorian times. I remember I used to play with some kids whose father was a vet. He had a pickled piglet in a big jar on the windowsill. Not much different to having a stuffed stag head on the wall, I suppose.
Oh yes, I know many people are still into Taxidermy - it was the freakish angle I was approaching from.

I don't like 'normal' taxidermy but this was really freakish, I felt sorry for the poor thing. But then I am a softie.
It was dead though..
It would be yes , one of my nephews was into it - he did birds. They were very good (if you like stuffed animals).

Can't understand why anyone would want ANY dead animal in their home.
My Gran used to have a stuffed Barn Owl in a case at the top of her stairs. I used to like it when I was a kid. I suppose, because I grew up with it (and the stag antlers on the wall) I didn`t think anything of it. Different times etc..
Each to their own.
I may have missed it...but *was* the calf actually stillborn? It looked a bit large to me.
Yes-a bit freakish...but as Douglas says " to each his own". I think there has always been a fascination with the freakish/unusual.

Pasta - I thought that, it looked a bit big but that's what he said.
