What is the BBC obsession with Ms Balding?

She is the best reporter,with her background, the on horse
racing but why do the Beeb think she can cover any sport?

Even though the stupid evening 'highlights' has been panned
she still is doing what John Inverdale did so successfully?

I have no opinion either way re CB but I have noticed that once someone claws their way into auntie beeb they very often take root!

I haven't seen the Tennis highlights programme. Clare did a great job with the horse racing and the Olympics. But I think she has been given too much airtime lately. From what I've heard the programme is a bit forced with a false audience. John Inverdale was nice, I'm sorry he was taken off.
