Since it's illegal to copy commercial videos (even for your own use) it's extremely unlikely that you'll find anyone offering this service.

On the other hand, if you're trying to transfer home videos to DVD, all you need to do is to look under 'Video & DVD Services' in your local Yellow Pages. Be warned, though: Most of these firms charge an arm and leg!

It's not difficult to copy videos to DVD using your home PC. (The hardware is cheap and there's plenty of free software available). The only real problem is time. You're going to have to play every video to copy it, so, with a large collection, this is going to take a long time!

Chris

Most firms that do transfers will charge about 10 for a 3 hour tape but standalone DVD recorders are about 100 now. All you do is connect your VCR to the DVD recorder, play your tape and record it straight onto DVD.
