firstly Anne Boleyn's execution was "full frontal" in Wolf Hall and a hanging in Indian Summers which left nothing to the imagination, is this becoming the norm ?

Anne's execution left plenty to the imagination, though - I thought all we saw at the end was the executioner? Similar to what they showed in A Man for All Seasons, which has been shown on TV.

I don't know how it will look if they ever show Cromwell's own execution - that went very clumsily indeed.

jim 360 they did that in Abu Dhabi with a rapist /murderer they pulled him apart with two Land Rovers I cant remember if it was in the 70s or the 80s, luckily I lived in Sharjah nowhere near there.
It would seem the Poles were no Albert Pierrepoint when it came to hanging Amon Goeth the former Nazi Criminal and Commandant of Auschwitz.
Too generous with the rope length. They are good mechanics though.
