There is (always) an agenda with these shows. BBC3 usually do knee jerk documentaries usually linked with some kind of report or survey. Does anyone know what it was with this - are they the worst, best, most recorded incidents of passengers being stranded, most highly policed? Most arrests? Or are they genuinely the happiest airport in the world? Or is it simply because they're relatively new?

Most 'smiley' airport I would imagine by the title.
I read it as a happy smiley airport, something really unusual. I didn't see an agenda.
Not sure what your getting at Lulu, can you explain more?

About the airport, I have been through a few times and have no complaints, and yes they are a smiley lot, and very helpful.

The customs staff are brilliant, they let you take anything in, for a price!

Usually there is some sort of background, nothing sinister like recent statistics, news reports or just a poll - maybe about westerners behaviour there. I was wondering if if this was the case, if they had won some sort of award or come top of some customer survey to have that airport over any other in the world.
