Do you keep a written copy of you mobile phone numbers . I do but Linda robson on loose woman today has just said she lost her phone and did not have a copy of them
i keep record of mobile numbers in my little book, but untill i lose my phone they will stay in that little book. Dread the day I lose my phone though.
All backed up on Google Drive :) Buy a new phone, add the Google account (takes about 10 seconds) and let it do the rest. Pretty useful also if you want to send all your numbers to someone who'm you trust as well.
Now you've reminded me wendilla, will alter 2 number that have been changed. I keep forgetting to do it. The only people that change numbers are only those close to me that have lost their phones.
I've lost a few phones in the past and have never changed number. I've had my number for 16 years. I wonder why people change them? unless they use Pay as you go?
Same as Dizmo and Ratter :)
Create a google account, then when you create a contact, create it under your google account, rather than phone.
Contacts are synced to your google account, so they're always up to date.
Every now and again, I'll back up my google contacts to my laptop, in the from of a .vcf file .... just in case anything happens to my google account.
All my phone calls are uploaded to Google drive immediately also. It makes it really handy if I need to remember the time for an appointment that I booked on the phone - I just go onto Google drive from any computer or tablet and listen back to my phone call.
