I found £80 quid a couple of years ago and took it into the local cop shop. They took details etc but told me it would never be claimed and to just spend it., which I did. I never heard any more about it.

How dishonest not to hand it in - I couldn't live with myself to keep it. Maybe it is from someone who is so rich they wouldn't miss it but who knows? It may be someone who is going to feel the loss badly and will affect their life this coming week. Think again nailit please and do the right thing.

Congrats! And how many people would HONESTLY go to the police station? Not many, I'd guess. If it was a wallet, i'd hand it in but cash is cash, finders keepers!
