Looks ok to me, mikey. But we'll see when it's released.
blimey, that's some cast.
Actually they have chosen the cast really well.

I'm looking forward to this, though I suspect it won't do much in the US of A

Hopkirk...who the hell care if it does well in the States or not...they would need subtitles anyway. B*****r the Yanks !
Most film producers would have eyes on the American market for the money to roll in.

Good on the people behind this one for doing a film which will only appeal to us Brits.
I have to say the cast is perfect but I have doubts about the writing given the other films cited.
Filmed in Yorkshire and funded by Yorkshire.

Is that where Warmington on Sea is?

My long-time American friends in New England told me that they really enjoyed The Full Monty a few years ago, but they had to turn the subtitles on ...pathetic ! God knows what they would have made of Rab C Nesbitt.
mikey - I almost needed subtitles for Rab C and I am in Perth

lol Wolfie !
I too had grave doubts about the film but this cast look just about perfect to me. Can't wait!
I expect it can be dubbed in other languages so why not U S of A, after all Texans for example have to learn to understand New Englanders.
I loved Dad's Army. It was a lovely, gentle, innocent humour. I don't know about a re-make though but you never know, it's certainly an excellent cast.
