I'm wanting to write a book set in 1990. Where can I get info on music, film, general living etc, year time line etc from that year?

For a guide to the films of the year xxxx go to: http://us.imdb.com/Sections/Years/xxxx/ Cannot find a similar thing for music but I know that the Manchester thing was big in 1990 - Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, etc. The Pretty Woman soundtrack sold a shedload too (horrifically). Also Acid House (the more commercial end of which included bands like 808 State, Adamski, etc)

One of the big 'choons' of the year was "Hear the Drummer (Get Wicked)" by Chad Jackson. Also big that year were PM Dawn and The Beloved.
