Its been a fabulous day all day in south east wales! I was expecting storms but it has only rained in the early hours. quite a pleasant surprise after the forecast!
It's been a lovely day here .We had a few thunderclaps this morning and a short sharp downpour and that was it.Out came the sun . The enormous hailstones and torrential downpours ,flooding etc that were forecast certainly didn't happen in my neck of the woods.

A shaft of sunlight on my lupins. Taken with my tablet so not a good quality picture. Just a snap.

Yes Tilly that bad.......Ah well...maybe tomorrow !!!!
It was glorious until about 2 minutes ago when t started chucking it down again. Sun still shining though which makes it look a little eerie. This morning, I fully expected to open my curtains and see a massive burning hole in the ground with a great big thunderball in it. I have NEVER EVER heard thunder like this morning, and I never want to heart again.it was truly terrifying.

Where was that, Horseshoes? Was it Wales?
