Kate Bush Tour

I see Kate Bush is touring for the first time since 1979. The tickets go on sale at 0930 on Friday. I wonder how long it will take for the ticket touts to buy up all the tickets? I give it 1 1/2 hours max.

I was never really a fan of her but she was original. My Mum was at my house this afternoon when the news showed a clip of her singing Wuthering Heights. My Mum said "***, what`s that noise?"

LOl I remember quite a few evenings back in the day when all of us got up (helped along with this and that) and did the whole Wuthering Heights routine at the top of our voices.

One of my best friends was a huge fan of Kate Bush but I think she is a bit like David Bowie in that no two of her songs have the same sort of sound. You either like her or you don`t. I remember when she brought out Wuthering Heights in the middle of the punk era. She was a bit of an enigma, really.

I think half of the boys in my year would have run off with Debbie Harry at that time as well. Then they found out (shock/horror) that she was 32. We couldn`t believe that someone could be that old!

There weren`t many man around at that time to have crushes on until Billy Idol came along. Was the tennis girl the one with no knickers? The newspapers tracked her down a while ago (can`t remember where I read about it)
