Does anyone know what has happened to Sharingan ? I used to enjoy her intelligent posts & miss seeing her on here.

Some time ago, we were chatting On a music thread. Shari mentioned a steam punk goth singer she liked, called Emilie Autumn. I hadn't heard of her, but I checked her out, bought some of her stuff, and ended up going to see her live in concert in Shepherds Bush. It was a fantastic gig.

I never got to thank Shari properly because, by the time I went to the gig, Shari had stopped posting.

Sharingham's father was NOX who also left the site after a "dust up"....so it would appear that susceptibility to "dust ups" may well be a familial trait.

I thought it was a fuss over teenage sexuality. Like perhaps every generation, I think Sharingan thought her own had "invented sex"... it was a bit of a strange thing to leave for, but the site still misses her I think. Nice to have the views of the younger generation, and she was certainly coherent and had a lot of good points to make.

I really liked her, she gave me some really good advice about home-schooling for a friend that was thinking about it.

I do wish her well, I'm sure she will be very successful in whatever she puts her hand to.

I sometimes thought her father was posting under her name - there were a lot of similarities but one night, someone posted a link to her website. The picture was the same as her picture here and it showed her real name. It was removed pretty quickly but maybe she thought too much information had been given out and it scared her off. I don`t blame her really - you never know what wierdos are looking in.
