This was, IMO, the most boring Only Connect final ever.

Yes the dress was horrid and in truth she should have brushed her hair. As to the Boardgamers - I had a nasty feeling from the moment they appeared in the series that they were going to win, just to annoy me!!

Glad I didn't watch it then. When they got through to the final I decided not to watch-self satisfied lot I felt.

VC obviously has nil taste in men. She used to fawn all over Guttenplan (in a previous series, and he was also a University Challenge captain), she married arch-geek David Mitchell, and she droolls over and indulges the creepy, strange, smug Jamie Karran, captain of the winning team. Agree about the dress - talk about VPL! And those horrible bulgy calves.......
