I heard a piece of music by Michael Nyman in a Michael Winterbottom film I watched recently - 'Everday' - in which John Simm and Shirley Henderson starrred.
The tune, played throughout, and particularly at the end scene, was beautiful and I'd like to be able to download a copy.
Apparently a very similar piece of music is on a recording of Nyman's called 'Sublime' though on this it sounds like the main piece is played by the string section. The music on Everyday sounded like a flute or something similar. The piece is also very similar to his recording 'Wonderland'. I've only just heard of Nyman tonight and I'm in no way a music aficionado - I just really this this theme from 'Everyday'. If anyone knows the piece of music I'm referring to (perhaps Google 'Everyday' theme tune) and can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
Hi Mizfiesta
I think the music score is a piece called Sublime, though in the film he uses different instuments ...flutes etc. It is an amazing piece of music... one that makes your hairs sit up and take notice !
...now i must go and get the film !
I hope this helps.
