Can anyone tell me the name of the series that I think was narrated by Lenny Henry telling the story of people arriving in Britain from the Caribbean in the 1950's? Many thanks

It was not narrated by lenny henry but the series i think you are on about that fits the description.. was called windrush it was aired on the bbc in the late 90s.

BTW The name "Windrush" was (I believe) the name of the first boat that arrived with Caribbean Immigrants.

It was a excellent series as well...showing what a massive contribution to britain and its culture the people from the carribean, india and pakistan have made..
