I only saw the end of it - what did the old gentleman used to be because there was a photo of a graduation of him on the wall and also the two old ladies. Do you not think sometimes people of this age would be better placed in a nice home to be cared for and fed, warm and comfortable and also company for them.
Yes I watched it...I was feeling pretty unwell but it made me thankful I was unwell in a warm bed. I loved the old girl who said pretty undies made her feel good. :)
Conne - he lived most of his life at sea, but when his became ill, he got a job as a teacher.
Robina - Kitty, she was so sweet - felt sick to my stomach when she said somebody had lit a fire in the stairwell of your block of flats and had been harrassing her. How vile are some people.
Kitty, that's right...I loved it when she said her style guru was Kate Moss. I want them to do a whole programme with her...or maybe she could do the mature fashion spot on This Morning? :)
Yes Conn, I know what you mean, I'd like to think they, and anyone who needs it, were being cared for in a safe place but they're proud and no one can force them into a residential home.
Robina - I know what a lovely lady - she obviously loves fashion - showing her undies in her wardrobe, made me cry even more.
Conne - no I do not agree with them going into care. If you have the correct support and back up at home, as long as you don't have dementia, then stay in your own property. These people were just lonely and just needed support.
I've just emailed the BBC to suggest that Frank be the subject of an episode of DIY SOS - the poor sod has had no bathroom facilities for 12 years when he got ripped off by cowboys. I think that is the boost he needs, to have his home refurbished.
Anyway, I am off out for a run, to blow the cowbebs away.
