This isn't in the sport section because it is more about a sporting event, rather than the actual sport itself.
There were lots of worries before the start of the Olympics that things wouldn't come together but most, myself included, thought it went very well indeed. A major part of that was down to the forces personnel who worked there, not to mention the 70,000 volunteers or, if you must, "event makers".
Bearing this in mind, does anyone know if the terminally inept G4S got their £55,000,000 commission and, if so, why?
