I was disappointed that no mention was made of rogue presenter Don Penteado.

I think Anne was trying to distract us with those specs.

Surely you have mistyped the programme name - It's Witchdog isn't it?

Ha ha, Hopkirk.

Matt made two references when he was doing his slot that he'd normally have done with Don- he said something like 'this time I'm flying solo' and he also made apoint of saying something about their being only one helmet for the bike.

I thought Anne Robinson had trouble saying some words- I don't know whether it's the result of work on her face/mouth
.
I wonder if Don was watching, or was he banged up for the night by then?
I found Matt's bit quite interesting but I wish they'd show it all in one go rather than in 3 bits because they keep repeating bits and reminding us of the story. Why do these programmes sometimes show the same clip/soundbite three times?
When he was introducing his bit of the show at the start he also said something about it being an eventful summer but he'd rather focus on.....'insert whitty pun here'.....
Anne looked liked Harry Potter's granny
"Why do these programmes sometimes show the same clip/soundbite three times?"

it's cheaper.

Many programs today, if you removed all recaps and summaries, would last around 9 or 10 minutes.
Agree with rojash, just been watching Rip Off Britain and we've had a tour of the homes and family life of the people featured, also Homes under The Hammer recaps and plays unnecessary music, spoils the programmes.
That's why I detest most of these programmes. I used to like the Hotel inspector but got fed up of seeing 15 minutes worth of viewing in an hour. I can't work out whether:
a) they are simply padding out the time,
b) they think we have poor concentration/poor memories,
c) it's to help those viewers who flick between channels and watch 2-3 programmes simultaneously or
d) it's so the programme can be broken up into several shorter programmes to be shown on some obscure channel
e) All of the above.
He has been jailed for 12 weeks for housing and benefit fraud!
I always thought his name was Dan not Don, probably wrong LOL!
personally I thought he always sounded like a bit of a woodentop if he had a personality it did not shine through on Watchdog.
