Love Your Garden

What do you think of Alan Titchmarsh's ITV1 gardening programme, Love Your Garden?

After watching last night edition I personally think it is way over the top, and only the richest could transform their garden into what is achieved in these programmes.

They never tell you the overall cost and who pays for it or how one is selected to receive these garden makeovers?

Much preferred his earlier and similar garden makeover show.

sick to death of gardening programmes, and him
Why is it OTT ?
And why can only the richest transform their gardens into what is achieved on the 'Love your garden' programme ?
I didn't see the last one because I'd watched the first two, just seemed like a newer version of groundforce to me!
At the end of last weeks programme I noticed that they gave out the prices of several of the individual projects which amounted in total to many £000's - this is hardly a show for gardening enthusiasts
I'd rather watch any gardening programme than these interminable cooking programmes.
Got to agree with that!
Don't like gardening programmes, but that's probably cos I haven't got a garden !
I thought last night's garden was the best designed garden so far. The two before that I could have made a better job myself. And where's Tommy Walsh when you need him?
There's nothing in this show that hasn't been done before and done better IMO but I'm just a sucker for garden shows.
I quite liked the last series of this programme, but I don't like this series as it is too much like Groundforce, I much prefer to know about the plants more than the hard landscaping so tend to give this one a miss.
I to liked the last series better
Certainly OTT with the makeovers,,,,,what I would give just to have someone weed and cut grass <sigh>
