Fare Ladies .... Street cars rival (Corrie)

How stupid that Lloyd got his new company up and running - business premises sorted out, his business cards and flyers printed and distributed, an advert for switchboard girl put in the Gazette ........and pinched Streetcars regular customers ....... all since Monday (2 days) when Steve told Lloyd he couldn't be a partner again!! Writers ..... do please get real!

I know what you mean, but the prog itself is not real, it's story driven, so the tempo has to be quicker than real life.
the business premises were the old rival taxi company's that he bought...

Don't make excuses for the writers - its still an insult to our intelligence ;)
It would be great to live in the Street as everything gets done right away, Fiz, Chesney and his wife had flu, Fiz called out the doctor and he was there in a flash, you would have to be at death's door to get a doctor to call. On the subject of Taxis, Eileen is very polite, thanks everyone for using Street Cars, when I order a taxi I just usually get a grunt and an ok!
No one is making excuses for the writers, just quoting what was actually written - whereas you're incorrectly reporting the plot! It was clearly stated that he invested in an existing company. "Writers - do get real"??? Viewers - do pay attention.
I too thought it was all done a bit quick, BUT I still love it !!!

Will be good when Tracy joins the staff and does some sabotaging !
if he was buying an exisiting business then presumabley offices - fix/fitting etc were already in place with cars and drivers, so it would just be ad, flyers and business cards, all can be done same day (as i have these printed regulary and can be sure of tis)
