So next week we are to see lesbian scenes 'in the hope of pulling in more viewers.'
What's your opinion on this?

From what I read in one of the papers, the lesbian scenes are more implied than actually screened, apart from the snogging!
Doesn't bother me I would be watching anyway
Is there a repeat of last nights any time before next Sundays. I should have recorded it as I fell asleep half way through.
I almost fell asleep halfway through the first episode but decided to switch it off instead. I haven't bothered watching it anymore I found it so boring and I can't see that lesbians are going to improve it. Is it not getting very good ratings? I know some people criticised Downton but at least it kept me interested enough to want to watch it.

I agree with you rattyratgirl. I fell asleep during the first and second episodes and I don't think watching a couple of actress's in bed snogging is going to keep me awake either.
It was dire. Unfortunately, the timing in putting it on last week immediately after the excellent 'Midwife' made it seem more boring and dire.
Oh Dear,I quite enjoyed it.Obviously not as good as the original but nothing ever is second time around. (except marriage)
The second instalment was a little better than the first, although the story about the cook was awful. Getting the sister out of Germany. getting the Jewish children out of Germany and having the Kennedy's to dinner did lift it a bit!
Find it terribly boring, not a patch on Downton or Midwife, loved to kiddy refugees arriving that was so sweet.
Makes Acorn Antiques look very good ...
I have to agree - totally lack the charm of the Midwives
Mind you I have started to find Downton a little bit 'twee'
