last night.

As soon as he said it, I thought there's going to be lots of complaints but, you could see was joking and It was quite funny in a way.

Problem is, it wouldn't be nice to the people who have lost loved ones on the railway tracks.

Sorry should have mentioned this first.
Isn't he a right *@*t?
Mentioned what first ?

No didn't see it (and not looked at your link yet) I noticed on teletext that there has ben an apology made for the "shoot them" bit; but I say one knows Clarkeson makes daft comments from emotion and doesn't consider the reality of what he says. No point in taking notice.
"No point in taking notice"

agreed.
People who complain about his comments are bedwettingly pathetic buffoons.

He used hyperbole to make the point that he disagreed with the strikes.
Just Clarkson being Clarkson I thought, nothing unusual about that.
I used to like Clarkson, now I just find him to be very annoying. Sometimes he is funny but I think he tries too hard to shock and it makes him look and sound a bit pathetic.
I would like Clarkson to be killed. Just joking !!
Love Clarkson. I seen some of it.

Did you spot at the end of the show he turned round to the presenters and said...why are you apologising...or something like that :-)
Cannot bear the Great Oaf..or watch him..for fear that something may be thrown, and my lovely flat screen shattered.
As soon as I see the name Jeremy Clarkson I run for the door!
Make Jezza the PM I say, he'd solve most problems in a week!
We'd be at full-scale war by Thursday Kayless!
Just knew when I watched it that there would be loads of complaints. Was just Clarkson being Clarkson and obvious he was joking. People are very sad indeed if they found it worthy of complain.

I like him. I actually agree with his thoughts on the strikers!! Not that he or I wish them dead!!

What a fuss about nothing.
I didn't see any need for the presenters to apologise. But I suppose they had to because of the ancipated rush of outrage from those that have nothing better to do with their time.
He's always used ridiculous hyperbole, that's his trade mark!
It would come naturally to him...he is a Hyperball-ache
''What a fuss about nothing.''

Totally agree. Much like the uproar over his past comment about long distance lorry drivers and prostitutes...
lol...
