are all episodes of the series going to be an hour and a half long, as tonights is, or is tonights an especially long one to get us all back in the groove?

you're obviously a much better googler than i am chris. i tried for ages to find something about it and came up with absolutely nothing. thank you :o)
Thank goodness I recorded it. Dare I say I found it a tad tiresome - what about you?
I was wondering that too ethandron - I'm sure the episodes were only an hour in the last series. Great wasn't it!!

no, i thoroughly enjoyed it maidup, ideal sunday evening viewing. i actually wish each episode was a couple of hours long, it always leaves me wanting more...
Bates is turning out to be a right old martyr. How many more times?
I read that the Bates story line is going to be central to this series.
I think it was the Mr Bates story that I found tiresome - he's been back 5 minutes and now he's off again. I enjoyed it but found that story line a bit far stretched.
It was worth watching just to see that gorgeous red velvet number that m'lady was wearing to see her daughter off...fab u lous.
