Rather sad to see this lovely fella looking so thin and mumbling his words on Pointless today.

Wonder what's wrong with him?

Yeh bloom - I always thought he was so funny - proper old school :-)))

Indeed post - but my step-mother is almost 80 and runs around like a 40 year old!
I wonder if he has parkinson's disease? Sounded much like my uncle did. No reason to sound like that just because he is 72 if nothing else going on.
He was on The One Show a few weeks ago. I thought he looked frail then.
Hate to be cynical not against him, but against the program makers/company.

TC - Still big enough a name to attract, and probably cheap to hire - and may need the brass as he hasnt been on the google box for a long time. Cynical exploitation by them and what a shame.
He was still bright enough though - the ivanisevic joke was good.

I know that when people mumble people can assume that their mind isn't as sharp as they come across as slow. I'm sure he doesn't think that he is behaving any different to normal and I'm sure he is pleased to still be hired for TV work.

sandyRoe - what was he promoting on the one show?
I can't remember. :-(
No worries, I just wondered if he was doing more work - I hardly ever see the one show but, when I do, I always feel sorry for the 'guests', especially non UK based ones, as they have to sit there for ages, watching the most bizarre VTs.

They look so confused by what is going on most of the time!
