I had to turn off last night at Steves wife shouting and going crazy and then the other story line with John Stape, all too far fetched for me.
I used to like Corrie, but I think it is rubbish now.
What do you think ?

The same. Was so beyond ridiculous last night. Hopefully storylines will get better now but with John still alive after surviving that drop i seriously doubt it!
I so agree with you. I watched 'Corrie' from the very first episode but gave up on it during the winter. The storylines are ridiculous nowadays. I suppose the writers want to make it 'Eastenders 2' to attract more young viewers!

Used to be so down to earth.
Gayles new daughter in law is horrid as well, would any one have her in the house, oh I could go on and on ?
Such a shame this programme has become too ridiculous for words. The John Stape story is laughable. When the detective said Stape had disappeared and just his coat was on the ground I thought 'WHAT' In the unlikely event that someone would survive that fall, why on earth would he take his coat off? I'm surprised he didn't leave a note saying 'I'll be back'
and you don't see many Doctors (his white coat) hurrying through a hospital carrying a little baby?
It's become very farcical indeed
In a year's time we'll see John coming out of the shower and the whole murder spree will just be a bad dream Fiz had.
Steve could have admitted it was him that made the phone call before poor Ken and Deidres house got smashed up!!
well at least she will go back to work and probably get off with aiding and abetting a murderer?
Maria will help with childcare, it's all so cosy, everyone has a job, they smash a house up and in a few weeks , will be forgiven for that, but I still love it :-)
I was thinking much the same the other night - Chesney had been held prisoner against his will and realised Snape was a murderer - he comes across his girlfriend in th ar being taken to the abortion clinic - wouldn't his first lines have been "I've been held by a mad killer" - rather than pleading with her not to go?? - who ever is writing this drivel at the moment should be taken off the team. Oh - and if every resident of the street has to have a criminal record - or be linked to those that do - mostly MURDER - can we have the programme renamed "MURDER STREET"

Having a great larf at all your comments, keep em coming lol
Did anyone notice if that picture of a Boy Scout got damaged in the wrecking of Ken and Deidre's house?

Uncle Albert would be turning in his grave.
now that everybody in Midsomer has been murdered perhaps the entire cast of Corrie could be moved to the village(s) to supply new victims.Ron.
off the radar i would say, as to John Stape getting up and rushing off after falling from six stories up is ludicrous. I must admit that i liked corrie for a time but its beginning to pall.
