Superb!

Was that Jeffrey I spotted in the Peter Kay Amarillo video?

if you had watched the countdown to the best cartoons a few weeks ago you would have realised. mostly cartoons are based on ideas of sex or relationships or something else a little close to the bone. e.g. the magic roundabout was all about getting stoned! many others have hidden innuendos that we dont realise as kids, we just pure entertainment out of them and dont question it. when we watch them as adults we see how blatant a lot of the hidden messages are. my partner has a daughter and i cringed when watching shrek 2 for the amount of innuendos that just passed her by. another thing to remember is that a lot of cartoons are made by middle aged men and women, whose ideas aren't quite so innocent as childrens! by the way George Zippy and Bungle were so gay...
You see, this is why you should read THE ANSWERBANK in depth, every day! Because if you did, you would know the background to this clip, which is that it was done as a joke just for Thames TV employees and wasn't actually part of a broadcast show.
Ahhh, okay jenstar, just what I need - another reason to keep checking in!!

Jenstar, if you actually looked at the link provided by ICEMANSAV you would have read,

"this clip was actually broadcast and watched by millions"

I know it says that. But it's wrong.

As with the answer to the previous question, this "edition" of Rainbow was NEVER broadcast in the run of the original show. It was a comedy spoof never intended for broadcast.

The only time it has popped up on TV is on late night programmes keen to perpetuate myths about Children's shows.

Gosh jenstar, you're not suggesting that something printed on a website may not be true? I don't know what to say - I feel so used, so betrayed.

You'll be telling me next that there's something fishy about those nice Nigerians whom I've never met but who keep e-mailing me offering to put $US30,000,000 into my bank account if I send them my bank details. I'm shocked anyone could be so cynical ;O)

I think what's worse about all this is that firstly that Iceman thinks he watched this episode when he was five... and that his mom didn't realise the hidden meanings?  Are they really hidden?  Are they not just a little obvious?

Speaking as someone who has worked for ITV and a few other TV companies you'd be amazed at just how many "spoof" episodes of programmes there are.  But of course, I didn't tell you that!

i dont care if its not real im going to play with my twanger any way   lol
