That depends on a varietry of factors.
If the 'stars' are in a band, they often sleep on a tour bus, and travel throguh the night to their next venue. Bigger and more successful bands will stay in which ever the popular luxuery hotel is in the individual city, but if they are seriously famous, they will be registered under false names.
On a sliding scale, depending on status and income, the level of hotel will decline exponentially, so there is no hard and fast rule about who stays where.
