Yes bumped into (literally) Rod Stewart years ago in Harrods. He was apologetic and absolutely charming!! It must have been a long time ago 'cos he was shopping with Kelly Emberg!!

....as opposed to someone in the news (for the next few weeks anyway) who, when I asked her to move her car, screamed "Do you know who I eff - ing am!"

I must be unlucky because all the ones I've met have been so far up themselves it's not true.
The worst ones ever were

Rchard Gere. (My uncle was in a film with him)

Elton John. He needs a good slap.

John Thaw. I accidentally walked onto a street scene he was filming and he was very very rude. We had a screaming row and I ended up telling him to f. off!

My family and i met Sam Neill whilst abroad and he was so nice and friendly - took photos and videocam'd him and his wife on set - he even sat on a wall and posed for photos with my kids, who love him as Dr Alan Grant in Jurassic Park 1 and 3. Goes to prove some celebetities are genuinely nice! Also met Emily Proctor ( CSI MIami ) at same time and she is lovely, but don't tell the wife!

Now I've had time to think, yes I have met a few nice ones.
David Seaman was very friendly
Ken Bruce bumped into me accidentally in a queue and was very apologetic

I don't know if they count as celebrities but when I was little I sat on the knees of Ron & Reg Kray and they gave me half a crown!

mrs_0 Reggie ( I think it was) married our baby sitter.....and she eventually commited suicide....nice girl from a very poor Yorkshire family.
