John Leslie arrested over rape allegations.

Apparently John Leslie has been arrested on suspicion of Rape. This offence goes back to 1995.

Wasn't there some scandal before involving him? It's ringing a distant bell.

Was it also something to do with Ulrika Johnson??

Apparently so.

The police have been investigating for some time, and now have sufficient evidence to arrest and charge John Leslie - he is now on bail.

It will be interesting to see if this one flies - other charges have been dismissed, although of course thanks to the nature of our media, he is already tainted and judged before anything gets any further.

No, just heard it on the ITV news. I think there were allegations by two other women, as well as Ulrika.

I wonder if he really is a rapist. This seems to keep getting raked up, but not sure he has ever been charged previously.

Why has the stupid tart waited 13 years to start bleating about it ? If it had really happened she would have reported it at the time. Next she'll be sprawled half naked in the News of the World selling her story.

There is no way he will be convicted. Any evidence is long gone and any witnesses are now way to hazy to convict him of anything. i do remember a few women came forward claiming stuff like this before his last case.

Catherine Zeta Jones is a former girlfriend of John's and she stood by him during his allegations (mind you, she's now married to somebody who needed treatment for sex addiction).
Ulrika hasn't been working much in recent times and this puts her back into the limelight which she craves.
Whether he gets arrested or not, his name has been tainted forever and he'll never regain the celebrity status he once had.
