hi
my boyfriend has just been giving a 51week suspended sentence for 2year this september for a section 47 charge which had been going on for 17month

he is now back up at crown court for a conspiracy to sell class b drug charge, this all started at the end of april this year (so it was actually after he was giving the suspended sentence) how will this effect him when we go back?

i am up for the same charge with him on the same day , what happened is i was the driver of a serious car accident at the end of april, injury's were quite serious with me and passengers, including, broken thema bone, staples in head, smashed pelvis, collapsed lung, broken ribs! baring in mind my boyfriend was NOT a passenger but he ran up to the scene after receiving a phone call off me screaming and he was worried, i wanted him there!, there was an ounce of which i thought was a legal high in my bag at the time! the police are saying it actually had 2 different class b drugs in there too ( i obviously wasn't to no this! ) but they are now charging us both with conspiracy to sell class b drugs as they think we were both in on selling it! i am also up for drink driving and driving without licence or insurance too! i have no previous convictions and my boyfriend doesn't have any other convictions apart from the one i have mentioned,
can some1 please gave me any advice on what will happen ext?
thanks

tanny22-
hhhhmmm no drug dealing involved! this drug i thought was legal and was for me only! and as for the driving EVERY1 makes a mistake at one point in there life! this is how we learn from them!
Pray. You don't deserve any sympathy.
Question Author
yeah i sure will be, and i aint looking for sympathy far from that! just sum advise maybe off some1 that has been or known some1 in simular situation
your boyfriend didn't learn...
rachybaby, you can't say "everyone makes mistakes" when talking about something as serious as this - I have never driven drunk or without insurance or a driving licence (or indeed with substances in my handbag) - I don't call those mistakes, I call it reckless and illegal.
everyone makes a mistake, you could have killed somebody, did you think of that, i dont think so
what, exactly was this legal drug?

the thing is you lot dont no the whole story, why i got in the car in the first place ext ext i totally agree with reckless and illegal but yeah, maybe i COULD of killed some1 but i was VERY lucky and never did! i no this isnt an excuse for anything, but i certainly have learnt from this , i have to try and move on from it all, keep away from all the influences which is hard in a town like mine!

my boyfriend had NOTHING at all to do with any of this that is the thing , he want in the car nothing! he had ran up to the scene as he didnt no what the hell had went on all he new was i was screaming he wasnt to no any of this was going on he didnt even no about me havin that stuff! so he is nothing to blame in any of this! so yeah he did actually learnt the fisrt time! just been dragged into something that had nothing to do with him!

and the drug was NRG1

Question Author
i am worried about him more than me! i would rather do the time myself seen as i done the crime myself , he had nothing to do with it so obviously i am going to be worried in case he gets time for doing the right thing and coming to help us!
hi, if he is found guilty he will serve the first sentence and plus whatever he gets for the conspiracy to sell
The drug NRG1. You say you were in possession of one ounce; that equals 28 grams. Read this link to see what just ONE GRAM can do!

You cannot claim to have not known about drugs and the implications of possession - everyone is surrounded by publicity. Equally the laws of driving without licence and insurance are commonly known.

You have no excuse at all and in my view a custodial sentence will be the outcome.
ps, you BOTH need to get good legal advice asap

this drug didnt get banned till the 26th july 2010 so it was still legal when i got it! i wasnt to no that there was illegal substances in it too! i new the 'bubble' was banned and that is why i got this 'new legal ' substance
i no the laws around the driving its the drug charge i was questioning

also will he have to serve his previous sentance even though all this happened before he was served his suspended sentance?
i'm sorry, i don't know the answer, your q said "it was actually after he had been given the suspended sentence"
this is why he needs proper legal advice.
TBH from what you have said, i don't see how he could possibly be found guilty anyway
