I am thinking of buying a JVC DRMH30 DVD Recorder with built-in 160GB hard drive. Can I copy VHS video onto DVD-R's with this machine? If so, how do I do it?

Thanks

There should be a TV input, just play the Video through it. viola!

Best bet is to dub them to the hard drive and then copy from the hard drive to the DVD-R. That way you can edit the file first if necessary (e.g. to remove ad breaks), and you don't have the laser burning constantly for the full length of the tape.
