My mum has just brushed past her cactus plant and managed to get a load of barbs in her arm. Due to a medical condition, she mustn`t get that arm infected so how does she get the damn things out of her skin?

Sorry, really didn`t mean to put this in business and finance
I have mini cactus and I have one with fine hair once it dropped and i went to catch it and had plenty of hair sized spikes stuck in my hand which i carefully removed wit tweezers.
If they are bigger then this site has some great advice using hair wax to rip them out with.

Thanks sue. i`ll go around to Mum`s in a minute and see how bad it is. Knowing her she`s probably tried to brush them off and made it worse. I think she`s going to throw the cactus away as she`s done it before. Last year when she moved house, the poor removal man copped a load of the cactus. We`re lucky he didn`t sue us!
Hopefully it isn't too bad because i know how much they sting!
