No need to speed pack poodi, just use all the 1p's in your house about 10 quids worth that should weigh about a kilo and fill a small rucksack and as your last item is scanned unzip and let those coins go everywhere. This will give you ample time to pack at your pace and even use your mobile phone as several workers scramble to contain and count your tsunami of copper coins.

Eddie remember the Chocolate factory workers on Willy Wonka, no one ever saw the walk in or no one ever seen them walk out, Im thinking Oompah Loompahs.

Eddie,i went shopping for our guys, didnt bring any bags, had a massive trolley full, and i had to keep asking for bags, she must of known that i needed more, but just kept giving me 3 bags and didnt speak...

Staff in our Morrisons are fine.
It's aldi that irritates me, the guys are instructed to whizz everything through the till, nowhere to put it except back in the trolley then bag it up on the shelves over at the side. If you try to pack it in an orderly fashion, like I do in Tesco, they tell you off for holding up the queue.
Lol, if its any consolation eddie here..

i agree with you there boxtops! they usually only have one till open until there is a queue right round the shop!
cherry, if I didn't like some of their food so much, I wouldn't go in there... but I do, frikadellen yum, cheeesy potato bake yum....

Saving money cherry, they advertise better than the average wage in Lidls, but dont employ enough
what's frikadellen, yeah so if they get paid more they should be happier :)

it's not i job i would like doing in lidls to be quite honest i would be buzzing for help when there are 3 people standing , i was always taught 2's a queue , there is always someone else there and its not like they are filling self or date checking probably through the back having a cuppa!!

Meat patties cherry, delish hot or cold. Like bulky burgers but tastier, 5 in a pack, or you can get mini ones.
god your lucky poodi , i can count on one hand how many times i have been in lidls to get change and there was never anyone about lol ... the last place you want to go is to the till cause you don't want to disturb them while they are scanning peoples shopping lol
never had any problems with morrisons staff near me, often have a little chat with them. I hate people packing my bags, they seem to put about 4 items in each bag. Less bags for me the better.
some people are just not the chatty type, I dont think all morrison staff are bad. maybe you caught them on a bad day?

cazz experienced it twice, once for my guys, and when my sister was up,she said to the assistant are we in a race,no response from assistant..
My best mate works at Morrisons and she really puts herself out to help her customers. I always take about 3 bags for life with me.....shouldn't have plastic bags.
management may have pressure on them to work fast, my brother used to get that when he worked at tesco's, they can put a lot of pressure on the staff
Our Morrisons is great, the staff are really nice and helpful and it's a really friendly store. Tescos on the other hand.............................. is dire.

I do my own packing as I have my own system and I never take my own bags. I reuse the supermarket bags for all sorts of things and never have to buy doggy scoop bags or bin liners. How stupid is it that we are encouraged not to use plastic bags, yet they sell bin liners on a roll. Much more 'green' to use the supermarket plastic bags.
