If you are an ex-pat say from New Zealand living in England do you need to have two wills
one in each country?

If you have assets in both countries, then yes, it's advisable. In theory one will might cover everything but it's difficult to see how you would get probate in the second country as the first would have kept the will.

If you only have assets in one country, then no.

It's where your assets are, rather than your nationality (in general) that determines the need for a will.
