I've been fighting with the Ex for the last 4 months over the equity in MY house.

Anyway....I got legal aid....how much would it have cost him?? I received at least two letters a week.

I only want to know so I can point and laugh.....

Two or three thousand I'd imagine.

So pleased for you ummmm - your ex was a shit of the first order. Serves him right.

I know he was....never thought he'd out like that.

His Mum lives two doors down...we've had social services turn up twice. The RSPCA have also turned up twice and envirormental health have been here 3 times.....

What next eh?
Stop laughing. You will have to pay back the legal aid from the equity.

No I won't....
Not if ummmm was successful HC (and from what I knew about the case, she was). Normal rule is that loser pays winner's costs. OK so ummmm will have to pay her own costs since she will never get costs out of a funded opponent, but she should not have to pay his.
