I am owed over 2k for working for a company for a month b4 they let me go and i have phoned and sent e-mails ect to try and recover this money but the response has not been welcoming.
Is there a debt recovery service i can use? i have no contract or invoice ect to prove that i was working there what are the legal implications of this?

just go to your local court and start small claims proceedings, you can add all your costs on + interest etc, very easy to do and they'll pay up as soon as they get the paper work unless they have a legit reason to fight it.
Are you saying you were dismissed after a month in the job? Ot that you havent been paid for the last month you worked there? Why were you dismissed, for what reason?

i was dissmissed the reason "it was not working out" and i have not been paid for the time served.
Were you an employee (even without a written contract)? Or were you self-employed?

If you were an employee you can take a claim for unpaid wages to an Employment Tribunal. You have to go through a grievance procedure with the ex-employer first. You can get some info. about this by phoning ACAS Helpline - or go to your local CAB.
