brought house

hi my mom is in a bad relationship with her partner and wants out. they have been together 4 years and e a brought house together. she would like to sell the house and make a fresh start for them both but he is refusing to sell, and cannot buy her out.
where does she stand, can he be forced to sell up.

He can. Your mother can make an application to Court under the provisions of the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 for an order for sale.
